Exploring the Impact on Travel & Tourism
H2R Market Research and Magellan Strategy Group led a primary research study to measure the impact of the sharing economy on the travel and tourism industry in August 2016. The purpose of the Sharing Economy research was to explore the differences between the travelers who use traditional resources and those who chose to use sharing economy resources while traveling. The study was conducted among travelers nationwide, with a total of 1,200 respondents. This provided for a maximum margin of error of +/- 2.8% at a 95% confidence interval.
